Dear Iraqi Teenager,

I was so pleased to find your blog. I hope you have completed all your final exams fine and that you are enjoying your summer vacation.

You seem to write only about the terrorists, why? What are the Americans doing in Mosul? It will be great to document that carefully as well. The world must learn about their crimes committed in IRAQ. You narrated an account about the American missles as if they were saviors, bringing slilence and order to your town.

I passed by Mosul on April 30 and again on May 18 and in both ways I was not allowed to stay in any hotel in Mosul because I was a woman alone. It was very disappointing and inconvenient not to be able to rest in Mosul on the way to Baghdad and on the way to Aleppo. I was unable to see Mosul, a wonderful and cultural city.

You mentioned in your diary about the damage inflicted on the restaurant in Beiji. Do you mean the restaurant in the rest area between Mosul and Baghdad, which has a nearby store that sells nuts and sweets? If so, can you please provide more information as to what happened there, who bombed it and when? Do you have an exact date? I loved that restaurant, it was beautiful and clean. The second time I passed by it was on May 18th. I bought delicious Turkish Halqoum and Syrian postachios from there.

I hope that you have an access to an Internet Cafe in Mosul if your phone lines are not working, so that you keep providing us with valuable information, or better with the truth.

LOVE to you and to all in Mosul

Note: I could not find your email address anywhere on your blog, so that I send you a private email. I appreciate it if you post a reply to my note above on your blog.
