I belive you have found a photo of the lastest "TOP SECRET" weapon of the US Army or it is a photo of a US Army soldier posing with George Bush. Either way it is funny.

I heard today that the American Commander in Mosul is asking for more troops to help stop the terrorist in Mosul. It worked in Bagdad.

It will all be ok Sunshine, keep your faith.

Next year, at this time, you will carry your memories of the horrible time you and your family went through, but it will be a memory. As time passes, those memories will grow distant. I want you to start considering a Fulbright scholarship. It will give you something to work for, and I know you would have countless sponsors.

Sunshine: Here's the story refered to above:

Dec. 5, 2007

U.S. Commanders Want More Troops in Northern Iraq

U.S. military commanders in northern Iraq have told Defense Secretary Robert Gates they need more troops to battle increased attacks by al-Qaida terrorists.

The call for the movement of Iraqi and U.S. forces into the north comes as Gates hailed improved security in Baghdad and said a stable Iraq is within reach.

In Mosul, the deputy commander of U.S. forces in the north told reporters that commanders would like additional U.S. troops, as well as the return of 1,400 Iraqi troops who were sent to Baghdad.

Gates met with commanders in Mosul before heading to Baghdad for talks with Iraqi leaders. He acknowledged the new challenges in the north. Gates says as military operations in Baghdad pushed al-Qaida north, there was a "resulting increase in terrorist activities in Mosul and surrounding areas."

Hang on Sunshine - I do believe help is on the way, and soon a dawn.

Don't ever let anyone tell you that you cant live your dream. Be relentless, because no matter how much the world seems to be falling apart around you, there is a VERY big world out there in which to live out these dreams.

Hi Sunshine! Like I have been saying for months now- the forces of good are on the move and we are winning! It is sad that Mosul is the last major city to be cleansed and restored to peace, but your day is coming soon! We have kicked the terrorists out of Anbar and Diyala, out of Baghdad and Mahmudiyah and the Sunni Triangle.

Out of Salah-al Din and of course Kurdistan. So now they have run to around Mosul for their last escape. But don't worry- we will not stop until everywhere in Iraq is secured. Immense progress is taking place all over Iraq, and I really believe every day we continue to fight is one day closer to final victory and peace amongst all the cities of Iraq.

We will need leaders like you in the future Iraq, so just keep studying and keep optimistic and know that the day will soon come where you will be a famous Iraqi politician leading to good things! :)

The Free Speech Movement (FSM) was a student protest which began in the 1964-1965 school year on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley under the informal leadership of students Mario Savio, David Goines, Bettina Apetheker, Suzzane Goldberg, and others. In protests unprecedented at the time, students insisted that the university administration lift a ban on on-campus political activities and acknowledge the students’ right to free speech and academic freedom.
