Thank you for your "Merry Christmas" greetings, Sunshine. That's very sweet of you. :-)

It's my favorite time of year. I love to listen to all the Christmas songs, too.

I hope your sister Miriam is feeling better.

That is so sweet Sunshine that you would wish us a Merry Christmas. I'm afraid I'm not as knowledgable about your faith's special days. I do wish you all of God's peace and happiness.

Hi Sunshine,

I was raised in a Christian family. From my earliest beginnings, Christmas was my most special day. The memories of Santa Claus, the anticipation of gifts in the morning, the music of Christmas, the food, the Christmas lights, decorating the Christmas tree, along with the family and significant others outside the family being together on such a day made me aware of just how wonderful the Christmas holiday is.

Today I am not a Christian anymore. I am an agnostic.

But Christmas still means so very much to me.

It is the ONE time where all my friends, Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, and ALL the others realize that we are so special. We wish each other good will in our feelings and happy times in our own separate holidays.

I do so love Christmas. It is NOT just for Christians. It is for all of us.

A radio DJ in my city related a story about a Muslim family who lives near his home and their kids are best friends with his kids. The Muslim family has a Christmas tree! Are we really different?

Merry Christmas to you Sunshine!

Enjoyed the blog - late deal holidays. A new site has been launched with plenty of bargain holidays to choose from. Bookmark http://www.bargainplace.co.uk not just for bargain holidays but for flights and transport to and from airports plus travel insurance deals and holiday clothes.

My family loves the holidays, beginning with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and Mardi Gras so we always have lots of parties. This year I decided to find real unique holiday cards that I could write my own holiday party invitation wordings. I found three great sites, Halloween Party Invitations, Scary Halloween Invitations and Christmas Invitations. I added all three sites to my favorites and ordered from Holiday-Invitations and was very pleased. I got lots of compliments, and was so happy. It made the holidays extra special!
