A quick post .....

Hello friends, as you know Eid Al- Adha will be on Tuesday, all the family celebrates together, & we wear new cloths.
This Eid lasts for 4 days, but unfortunately I won't celebrate in the fourth day, because I have to study for my oral mid year exam & my French teacher will come at that day too………
My oral exams will start on 15 / 1 , my first oral exam will be English , followed by French & computer , then Arabic & religion , after that I will have my written exams . We will have Mathematics & religion exams in the first day; I will have a half day only to study them both!!!
As you see I will be soooooooooooooooo busy, my last exam will be on 28 / 1, it will be the English exam. we won't have breaks in between these exams neither weekends, except Fridays!!! My birthday will be on Sunday 29 / 1 the first day of the mid year holiday which will last for two weeks………….
Wish me good luck, I'll need it ….
Sunshine…..
Note, I will write a post about my New Year celebration, with some pics, wait for that……

The harder you work at preparing, the easier the task (or test) when it arrives.

Hi Sunshine...I just read your entire blog and besides it being very infomative about the situation in Iraq, it was also an inspiration to me ! I have been feeling alittle sorry for myself lately and complaining because of health and personal problems but they pale in comparison to what your dealing with on an everyday basis and you seem to handle it with such a great attitude.

I really worry about your situation there in Iraq and wish it could all change for the better overnight ! The change may be slow but it will get better !

When I was a child I enjoyed a book called "The Diary of Ann Frank". She was another young lady who wrote about her experince in a war zone, (Germany World War Two). If you could get the book I think you would find it interesting reading.

The most important thing to do to prepare for exams is to get a good night's sleep. Especially math.

3 Month old Iraqi Child doing great!

Surgery

Noor's father and grandmother, who came with her from Iraq to Atlanta, were anxious before the surgery and relieved at the news it went well, said Christina Potter, the U.S. director for Childspring International, the charity that helped arrange the trip.

"When Dr. Hudgins came up after the surgery and declared that the surgery was a success and exceeded expectations, there were tears of joy," Potter said.

Soldiers from the Georgia Army National Guard's 48th Brigade found the sick baby during a routine "knock-and-search" of the family's Baghdad home and worked with U.S. officials and charitable groups to bring Noor to Atlanta for treatment.
